Description
This tour will be about 5 hours on foot and has a low level of difficulty.
Departure will be from Xhebro guesthouse in Rexhinë village, at 8 am. The walking terrain among the majestic and heavenly hills will be general an easy path.
After about 2.5 hours we will reach a hill surrounded by oak forests. A rare view of the Nivica Canyons and the Këndrevica Mountains, where a large square paved with stone slabs and surrounded by 5 magnificent oaks must have been the site of ancient rituals
Named as the “Top of the Seferaj”, it is probably the last Pagan Temple in the region still worshiped by locals. Is the last temple where the mystery of Oak was admired.
Only 500 meters away, in 1978 it was discovered the ancient statue of Nivica Zeus, dated V-IV BC. In a walking distance you can also visit the ancient Church of Vinje .It’s so rare to find so much history in such a small place.
After a short break we will return to the guesthouse, around 13.00 pm we will enjoy a delicious lunch full of bio products prepared on fire such as: lamb, casserole with vegetables, cheese, “shakulli” sauce, etc. while we consume raki and sing traditional “Labe” (folk) songs.
