Adventure, history and the beach.

Departure from Gjirokastra at 9:00

We will head to the famous province of Kurvelesh in 4X4 jeeps.

Along the way we will visit the 200-year-old Ali Pasha water supply and a stop for some photos at the panoramic point where the canyons meet the Bënçë River.

We continue our journey to the village of Progonati where we will have the opportunity to visit one of the area’s dairies and try traditional products such as cheese, cottage cheese and other dairy products that the area’s masters have been masterfully preparing for centuries.

We will head to the beautiful and fascinating waterfall of Peshtura. After having lunch at a local inn we will continue our visits to the picturesque village of Nivica. Here we will get acquainted with the history of the area which starts from antiquity, and then we will visit the village center, the ruins of the castle, the point where the canyons of Gusmari and Nivica meet and if desired we can go down to the canyon (about 2 hours average level experience)

Once we have finished our visits we will return to the reception guesthouse where we will have dinner and light a fire around which we can drink a glass of brandy enjoying the tranquility of the night.

 

DAY 2

After consuming breakfast we will leave for the villages Kuç- Fterrë- Çorraj -Borsh.

The road passes through the river canyon and gives you a special pleasure.

The landscapes and natural beauties that this trip will have will stay in your mind for a long time.

The next stop will be the village of Borsh where we will spend the rest of the day by the crystal clear water.

Departure to Gjirokastra around 17:30 the road will be a return from the Sarajevo Riviera through the villages of Piqeras, Lukova, St. Vasil, Nivica (Saranda) and onwards.
