This Aqueduct of Benca is situated above the Benca river, 2 km in north of the village with the same name. The Aqueduct is a hydraulic structure , built in XIX century, served to send the fresh water to the Castle of Tepelena. The monument is built by Ali Pashe Tepelena, but it was demolished and damaged by an earthquake in the years 30 in XX century. It was rebuilt, but not in its authentic shape. Anyway it is still a touristic attraction for many people who are interested for the medieval structures, and especially for architecture works during Ali Pashe Tepelena reign.
