This largely undiscovered waterfall is as beautiful as any in Europe. Crystal-clean water plunges 40m into a turquoise colored pool, escapes through a horizontal slit, and drops another 40 m into a second turquoise pool. From there, the water cascades down a series of falls, several hundred meters to the bottom of the canyon. The waterfall is situated in the Kurveleshi area, between the villages of Lekdush and Progonat. People call this area “buza e ujit” (the water’s edge) because of its huge resource of crystal-clear water.
