Tepelena Municipality supports Visit Gjirokastra Association

The Municipality of Tepelena has supported with a fund from its budget the activities of Visit Gjirokastra, while promised another fund in the budget for the next year 2021. The municipality suggested that the touristic strategy of the region should include new products and long term touristic offer, which will bring more benefits for the community. A new symbol of Unesco

A new art work is added to the UNESCO city of Gjirokastra. It is a Bronx art work symbolizing the UNESCO city, and is placed in the entrance of Old Bazaar in Gjirokastra. It is made by famous artist Mumtaz Dhrami More

Iso-poliphonia, 15 years UNESCO

Heritage week in Gjirokastra

From 23-29 September a number of cultural activities were organized in Gjirokastra in the framework of Week of Heritage. Exhibitions, concerts, and culinary and artisans fair held in old bazaar attracting many tourists.
 

Retro in Gjirokastër

A very unique event held in the old Bazaar by Retro Albania in October 2020. Old style cars were exposed in the stone streets of Gjirokastra. Many other events, concerts, were held for a week in Gjirokastra

Culinary and Hospitality workshop

Visit Gjirokastra organized a 3 day seminar with tourist businesses in Gjirokastra: Improving the culinary and hospitality services was the topic of Seminar. The speakers were Gladiola Dona (hospitality expert) and Armand Kikino (culinary expert). See here
 

Seminar on Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing for tourism businesses was the topic of seminar held in Gjirokaster. The seminar was held on 15 September and was supported by Risi Albania. The trainer was Alma Gerxhani, digital marketing expert. See more
